Alex Chopyak

Alex Chopyak brings a wealth of dedication and expertise to St. Bridget Church, where, for the past two years, he has served as the Pastoral Assistant for Adult Faith Formation and Liturgy. Rooted in a Catholic educational journey from K through college, Alex holds a BA in Math Education and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction. With Catechetical Certification from the Archdiocese of Seattle and seven years of experience as an OCIA and Sacrament Prep teacher, Alex is well-qualified for his role. Driven by a profound love for sharing the faith and witnessing spiritual transformations, Alex actively contributes to the St. Bridget community as a Choir member and Liturgist.

Beyond official duties, Alex is a devoted participant in the St. Bridget's Choir, adding to the musical richness of the community. The passion for community outreach programs or initiatives is hinted at, reflecting a potential avenue for future engagement. In overcoming challenges, Alex embraces questions of faith with humility, viewing them as opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Outside the church, Alex's interests reveal a multifaceted personality. A theater enthusiast, Alex takes the stage in local productions, showcasing a flair for performance. Family holds a paramount place, with family movie nights as a cherished pastime. Additionally, Alex explores culinary delights, experimenting with new recipes and diverse cuisines. The delicate balance between personal and spiritual commitments is maintained by viewing all work as a form of prayer and prioritizing family as the primary call.
