Children's Church is making its much-awaited return on September 10! All children aged 3-9 are invited to join us during Sunday Mass for an engaging and age-tailored experience that will deepen their understanding of faith through stories, activities, and discussions led by Amanda Cahill and dedicated volunteers. Our secure and nurturing environment ensures both learning and safety, following recommended protocols. The Archdiocese is migrating all parishes to a new database called ParishStaq which will replace our PDS and Flocknote systems.  Eventually, this system will change the way we communicate with you, offers a new giving site, and a new way to sign up to volunteer, including a useful parish app for your smartphone. Please join us for Mass on September 9-10 for the celebration of St. Phoebe Day. Phoebe was a collaborator with St. Paul and a deaconess and leader in the early church at Corinth. Her legacy is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the ministerial gifts and leadership of women in our church today, including the possibility of their eventual ordination as deacons. We will feature girls and women from St. Bridget’s in most of the liturgical ministries. Manon Cypher from our Pastoral Council will offer a reflection at the homily time. Plan on joining us!

Archbishop Etienne signed a partnership declaration with the Archbishops of Santa Fe and Nagasaki, and the Bishop of Hiroshima for a world without nuclear weapons. (The Archdiocese of Santa Fe makes the nuclear weapons, while our archdiocese holds the largest number of nuclear weapons – and the Archdiocese of Nagasaki and the Diocese of Hiroshima are the only dioceses in the world directly impacted by an atomic bomb.)
